Favicon

I've decided now that I have a mini-Photine empire (links on the About Page), I should get a distinguishing favicon (that little symbol next to the web address in your browser) but I have no idea what it should be. The letter P? Ph? Something with some color in it? I have no idea where to start or how to go about it. I need suggestions!

UPDATE: Here are some thoughts. I like the curvy letters, but a lot of people use letters for their symbol. I definitely like less traditional music symbols. They are obvious to music people, but not as obvious to others. I'm really leaning towards 2 and 4, but I'd like to hear your thoughts. Remember it has to shrink down to itty bitty.

UPDATE 2: Thanks for the feedback everyone. Most people voted for 2 and I did try it out for a while, but in the end I went with 4. The lines were cleaner and I felt the other one was a little too busy.

That little symbol that is next to the web address in your web browser. for TypePad it is a blue square with a stylized speech bubble in it.

Definitely less traditional. I'm very rusty but I want to take a stab at this.

1. ?
2. G (treble) clef?
3. F (bass) clef?
4. Whole note? Entirety?

I like 2 and 3.

Actually 1 is just the letters Ph for Photine. 2 is Dal Segno. 3 is a C Clef and 4 is a breve or double whole note.

No, no. I like that you recognize them as music symbols. That's why I like them. Abstract, but recognizable to those who know.
